Factory-prison is a documentary that deals with the privatization of Brazilian prisons and mass incarceration, which is currently underway in the country. Through the daily life of four characters: two prisoners, a public defender, and an administrator who campaigns for privatization, the film presents the risks and the perspectives of increasing punitive actions and the privatization of prisons.

The project was selected at Brazil Cinemundi International Coproduction Meeting - Doc Meeting - 2016. The script was developed with Miguel Machalski doctoring during 2017.
